We are absolutely delighted to represent Balfour Beatty & Mott MacDonald in their partnership with Bridges to Prosperity this year. Our team of 10 volunteers will head to Rwanda in June to build a bridge!
We're excited to use our engineering and construction skills to support Bridges to Prosperity's vision; a world where poverty due to rural isolation no longer exists. Their mission is to provide safe, year-round infrastructure to access vital resources empowering the communities out of poverty.
We will construct the Nkegete Trailbridge, a 77m suspended footbridge over the Gasayo River. This bridge will provide safe access for a community of over 1400 people, connecting them to healthcare, education and employment.
Team Nkegete is preparing for the project by planning the construction methodology, logistics and community engagement. Additionally, we will be fundraising through a series of events in the following months. You can donate to our fundraising here: Bridges to Prosperity UK Charitable Trust fundraising & online donations | KindLink Thank you for your support in advance. Your donations, big or small, will help us with our mission.
We invite you to follow us while we prepare to deliver this project successfully with your valuable help. We will be sharing our journey via our socials and blog: https://linktr.ee/team_nkegete
